Charity Cannavo, LMHC, Qualified Supervisor
Charity Cannavo
Emotional pain can be so overwhelming that we feel unable to get out of the dark places by ourselves. Trying to navigate trauma, anxiety, hopelessness, and stressful relationships can give fear, doubt, and shame the ability to take up too much space in our lives.
I provide a safe, supportive, non-judgmental space for you to explore your past, examine the present, and move into your desired future. Through challenging negative belief patterns, reprocessing trauma, and learning to build a deeper sense of self-worth, we can work toward your personal healing and restoration.
The way to healing and restoring the body, mind, and spirit can feel challenging — but you don't have to do it alone.
What "LMHC" and "Qualified Supervisor" mean.
Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
A state-licensed clinician who has completed the required graduate education, supervised clinical experience, and licensing examination to provide mental health counseling independently.
Qualified Supervisor (QS)
An additional designation held by some licensed counselors that allows them to provide the required clinical supervision for Registered Interns working toward their own license — which is how Charity supervises Angela's clinical work.
Finding the right level of support
Charity sees clients in person in Tallahassee and by telehealth for clients who will be physically located in Florida during their session. Not sure this is the right fit, or have questions about insurance, Medicaid, or a specific concern? See our full answer on the Contact page, or ask during a free consultation.
