Common reasons clients seek this support include:
- Chronic worry or a mind that won't switch off
- Work, school, or caregiving stress
- Panic or physical symptoms of anxiety
- Difficulty relaxing or feeling constantly "on"
- Overwhelm from juggling too much at once

What this does not include
Hope Connection's services are talk-therapy based โ sessions are not medication management or formal psychological testing. If medication might also help alongside therapy, that's something we're glad to help you think through or get a referral for during your consultation. The public consultation request form is not for urgent or clinical communication. If you're in crisis, please use the resources at the top of our Resources page or call 911.
Insurance and private-pay options.
Insurance participation varies by therapist. Charity Cannavo is in-network with Capital Health Plan (CHP), UnitedHealthcare, and Aetna, with private-pay sessions generally ranging from $100โ$150. Angela Cash currently accepts self-pay clients, generally $80โ$100. Limited sliding-scale availability may be offered.
A few quick answers.
Is this the same as taking medication for anxiety?
No โ this is talk therapy, not medication management. Whether medication might also help is something we can discuss and, if appropriate, help you find a referral for.
Would group or individual therapy help more with anxiety?
Both can help. Our current Basic Mindfulness Class focuses on grounding and calming the nervous system in a group setting; individual sessions offer more one-on-one focus. We're happy to help you decide during a consultation.
How do I get started?
